A Cinnabar Moth Caterpillar [Tyria jacobaeae] in Salem Oregon July 2008 (eating Groundsel - they store the poison from the leaves and carry it through to the moth stage to deter predators). The beautiful red and black moth was introduced to control Poisonous Ragwort.
